What is a Hysteroscope?

A Hysteroscope is a device used for the visual examination of the cervix and interior of the uterus, normally consisting of a tube, a light source and an optical system, usually either fibre optics or a micro video camera. Rigid and semi-rigid models differ in tube flexibility and diameter.
